Our Promise
Coming to terms with needing breast surgery is hard; adjusting to the changes to your body after surgery is sometimes even harder. As the only provider of mastectomy fittings in the area, we set out to make sure that we offered a product that was high-quality and wasn't one-size-fits-all. Our team is here to help you transition to life after surgery as easily and as comfortably as possible. We can help you find a shape and a fit that works for you, and we can help with insurance billing. Our goal is to have you leave here feeling at ease, feeling good, and feeling like you!
Process
Whether you need a partial or a standard form, are looking for a lighter model, a cooling material, or want some options in size, we can help you find the right fit. To get the process started, just follow these easy steps!
- Have your physician send us a referral, then visit us in-person for a fitting.
- We will gather all documents from your physician within 6 months of your fitting.
- We call you to schedule a fitting with one of our trained specialists.
In some cases, you could go home with your items the same day as your fitting if we have what you need in stock!
Coverage
We strive to make the process of getting your bras and forms as smooth as possible, and that includes payment. Mastectomy items are 80% covered by Medicare Part B and 100% covered if you have Supplement for:
- Silicone Prosthesis (every 2 years)
- Leisure & Post Surgery Soft Foam Forms (every 6 months)
- 3 Bras (every 6 months)
Swim and Activity forms are not covered by insurance.
We also offer a Cash Bundle option if your insurance doesn't cover mastectomy items!
Fitters That Fit You
Cherie James
LPN, CPhT
Cherie has been with our pharmacies since 2006. She has 21 years of experience as a nurse and 16 as a pharmacy technician. Along with being a great mastectomy fitter, she also helps patients with therapeutic shoe fittings and vaccines.
Dawn Anderson
LPN, RN
Dawn has been working as a nurse for 24 years and served in the United States Air Force before that. She also currently works in hospice nursing. Though relatively new to our company, she has been a wonderful addition as a mastectomy and therapeutic shoe fitter.
